This Privacy Policy explains how Tackle, developed by Seven5SevenCo Labs and operated by SEVEN5SEVEN CO., LLC ("Tackle," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use the Tackle mobile application, this website, and related services.
Information we collect
Account information
We may collect your name, email address, profile photo, authentication information, and account identifiers needed to create and secure your account.
Household and Tackle information
We process information you choose to add to Tackle, such as household/workspace membership, invite codes, Tackle titles and descriptions, categories, priorities, due dates, assignments, status, comments, photos, and completion history.
Notification information
We process notification preferences and device/subscription identifiers needed to deliver push notifications. If optional email or SMS notifications are added in the future, we will collect the contact information you choose to provide for those channels and obtain any required consent.
Subscription information
If you purchase Tackle+, payment is handled by the applicable app store and may be managed through a subscription platform. We do not receive your full payment card number. We may receive subscription status, product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to provide paid features.
Technical information
We may receive basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as device type, app version, error information, IP address, and service logs.
How we use information
- Provide and maintain Tackle.
- Authenticate users and restore household membership.
- Store and synchronize Tackles, comments, photos, and history.
- Deliver notifications you have enabled.
- Provide support, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.
- Manage subscriptions and premium access when applicable.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
How household information is shared
Tackle is designed for shared household use. Information added to a household, including Tackles, assignments, comments, photos, status, and completion history, may be visible to other members of that household. Use care when adding personal information to shared content.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate Tackle. Depending on the feature, these may include Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; OneSignal and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications; Cloudflare for website hosting and network services; app stores for distribution and purchases; and RevenueCat if Tackle+ subscription management is enabled. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices and our service configuration.
Data retention and account deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain legitimate shared household history. When an account is deleted, the account and personal profile are removed or anonymized as appropriate. Shared household content may be preserved when needed so other household members do not lose shared Tackles, comments, photos, or history. References to a deleted user may be replaced with a label such as "Deleted user."
You can request deletion in the Tackle app or through our Delete Account page.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Tackle is not directed to children under 13. Parents or guardians are responsible for managing household participation for younger family members and should not create independent accounts for children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement.
Your choices
You can update your profile, manage notification preferences, leave or manage a household subject to ownership rules, and request account deletion. Device-level notification permissions can also be controlled through your operating system.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Tackle evolves. We will update the effective date on this page when material changes are made.
